Laminam: The large and thin ceramic slab: size 63.7”x127.5”
LAMINAM – The Porcelain Slab.
The first company to introduce the ceramic slab into the industry, revolutionising the intended uses of porcelain stoneware.
Hygienic, resistant and with excellent material properties, LAMINAM slabs are available in 2 sizes and 3 thicknesses (1000x3000mm/3-5.6mm and 1620x3240mm/12-5.6mm – 39.4”x118.1”/0.12”-0.22” and 63.7”x127.5”/0.47” and 0.22”) in over 120 textures.
These large-size, minimum-thickness ceramic slabs are a versatile material for use in architecture – floors, walls and facades - and furnishings, both indoors and outdoors.
The Company was founded in 2001, when engineer Franco Stefani had the idea of patenting the technology of this innovative production process and imagining how it could be used. These ceramic surfaces are produced using the cutting-edge machinery created by System Group, Laminam’s parent company. The main factory, in Fiorano Modenese - Italy - has been joined by two new facilities set to triple production capacity: one in Borgotaro (Parma, Italy), dedicated entirely to 1620x3240mm size slabs, and another in Russia, located in the Vorsino Industrial Park, not far from Moscow, reserved exclusively for 1000x3000mm slabs.
LAMINAM exports to Europe and North America, the Gulf States, Russia and the Far East. The Company boasts an extensive portfolio of projects created all over the world, and has established a number of important partnerships, in particular with the Japanese giant Toto Ltd, thanks to which LAMINAM is also able to offer the innovative photocatalytic treatment Hydrotect®, which gives the ceramic slabs air purifying and self-cleaning properties.
