Since 1999 Aalto has specialized in creating one-of-a-kind marble inlay surfaces for grand spaces. Using our extensive archive of distinctive designs or your reference as a starting point, we work with you to create statement pieces befitting your personal style and tastes.

Our collections of waterjet mosaics range from striking geometrics to highly detailed, richly embellished flora. Each collection of ornate marble floor designs is customized to the architecture and interior design of your unique space. Our team of designers works with you to ensure that our inlay, whether for the floor, wall, or ceiling, is in keeping with your interior or exterior project.

Our founder, Harri Aalto, pioneered the use of waterjet technology for decorative architectural stone in 1988. Harri began his career in painting and sculpture. This basis in fine art has allowed him to push the limits of his floor designs past the previous expectations of the industry.

  Aalto Marble Inlay will be displaying their new large-scale samples at the Coverings trade show in April 2020 in New Orleans. These samples are available for the first time to stone and tile showrooms in the USA and internationally. In a time when grand spaces can be created digitally, it is increasingly important to show your customers the physical product, especially such a tactile product as stone inlay. The Aalto sample program includes two offerings; the first is large samples of each design collection; the Collection Samples Program. These samples can be mounted on the wall or on floor stands. (Collections) The second is the Medallion Samples Program. These samples can be used as a starting point to sell custom medallions as well as be sold directly to the end client from the showroom floor. (Products) 

  Aalto Marble Inlay design collections range in style from more contemporary band borders and geometric patterns with ornate flourishes at the focal points to fully detailed marble “rug” designs. Typically utilized in private residences the inlays can be used in the foyer, formal living room, formal dining room, corridors, kitchen, master bath and spa and pool areas as well as tabletops.
