Tile Council of North America
TCNA is a trade association representing manufacturers of ceramic tile, tile installation materials, tile equipment, raw materials, and tile-related products. Established in 1945 as Tile Council of America, the association became TCNA in 2003, with members throughout North America. Representing over 99% of the ceramic tile manufacturing capacity in North America with offices and laboratories in the United States and Mexico, TCNA’s industry leadership and representation is unparalleled.
TCNA is recognized for its state-of-the-art laboratory, technical publications, and leadership role in facilitating the development of North American and international industry performance standards.
TCNA and its members are dedicated to product quality, installation quality, and the safe use and specification of ceramic tile. With decades of experience, TCNA staff facilitate the development of product and installation standards worldwide, represent the industry in the development of building codes, and advocate for health, safety, and fair trade in legislative and regulatory matters.TCNA staff serve as the Secretary or Chairperson of ANSI, ASTM, and ISO Committees responsible for ceramic tile industry standards, and through these committees have a broad awareness of industry stakeholder interests and concerns.
