• UM605PS combines the flexibility of loose heating cables with the ease of installation of mat systems.
• Wire Cable can be snapped into place wherever heat is desired, which significantly reduces installation time and effort. Could stick to anything i.e wood, concrete, glass ,screed, plaster, metal and more
• For optimal performance with difficult-to-bond-to substrates, use suitable primer first.
• Tile directly over UM605PS or pour self-leveler over the top to install alternate floor coverings like , and no need for drying time:
• Engineered Wood, floating or glued-down
• Laminate
• Luxury Vinyl Tile & Plank (LVT/LVP)
• Vinyl
• WPC or Wood Plastic Composite core flooring
• SPC or Stone Plastic Composite core flooring
Peel & Stick installation is even easier now without thin-set under the mat. To install, peel the release film off UM605PS and place the membrane on the substrate. It can be lifted and re-positioned providing no pressure has been applied to it. Neverthless, once pressure has been applied the adhesive sticks the membrane firmly to the substrate. The heating cables can be
More detailed features as below:
• Simply remove the release film from the fleece side of the membrane to expose the layer of adhesive, and embed into substrate
• No thin-set required to install membrane means a faster and easier installation
• The membrane can easily be repositioned until pressure is exerted
• Less mess, less cleanup, and fewer tools required
• The stud structure of UM605PS is specifically designed to allow for the easy installation of loosely wire heating cables
• Nominal 7.0mm thickness minimizes tile assembly thickness and reduces transitions to lower surface coverings
• Self-leveling compounds are not required to encapsulate the cables into the membrane
• Available by the roll or by the sheet to accommodate various room sizes
• If application area requires a membrane that meets or exceeds requirements of ANSI A118.10, please refer to thin-set versions of UM605. Alternatively, the UM605PS membranes may be covered with the Blosam WP106 membrane, which is certified to meet ANSI A118.10.
