HOUSTON, TX – Coval Technologies announces that it has hired Robert Falzone as director of its new Stone Division. Falzone is a stone and masonry cleaning and restoration expert, and one of only a few approved instructors for the IICRC* in the field of Stone, Masonry and Tile Certifications (SMT) in the USA. Falzone has created the Coval Stone Certification Course to teach stone restoration contractors how to install Coval Stone, Coval Stone Primer, and Coval Natural Look Sealer, all released last fall.
“For years the industry has been looking for the ‘invisible protection’ that Coval created,” said Falzone. “You get the appearance and feel of the natural stone with the protection of a coating. This is the most impressive product I have ever seen, and I am thrilled to be part of it.”
Falzone has restored stone floors and countertops everywhere from retail stores and hotels to casinos and restaurants for over 35 years. He has been an independent training consultant for the past five years, in addition to managing specialty cleaning and restoration projects for COIT Cleaning and Restoration.
“I have worked on the Las Vegas Strip at just about every major casino,” said Falzone, who has lived in the Las Vegas area for almost two decades. “But I’m pretty sure the casinos’ legal departments would not like to hear me talk about its dirty floors that I helped clean.”
Before branching out on his own, Falzone helped build a multimillion-dollar chemical supply store location with Bridgepoint Interlink Supply. He also excelled in the carpet cleaning industry as a certified Chemdry technician and selling Hydramaster cleaning equipment.
The next Coval Stone Certification Course will be offered on Friday, April 12, after the Stone, Masonry and Tile Certifications (SMT) class that Falzone will teach on April 10-11 in Euless, Texas. For class locations and more information regarding the benefits and cost, contact Coval Technologies at 281-566-4277 or go to www.covaltechnologies.com.
Personally, Falzone spends valuable time at the Indian Springs State Prison complex in Nevada providing weekly drug and alcohol counseling for the inmates. He spent 17 years volunteering for a non-profit in Brooklyn, NY, while supporting himself financially by restoring historical buildings.
Coval Technologies aims to improve sustainability and reduce the environmental impact of the coatings industry by manufacturing coatings that decrease installation and maintenance time while eliminating harsh cleaning chemicals. For more information, visit www.covaltechnologies.com.
