  Saxum by Casalgrande Padana: sensual beauty in porcelain stoneware

  Inspired by the sun, sculpted by the wind and shaped by the water. A porcelain tile collection that embodies ancient memories, weaving them together into a new material language that brings surfaces to life. Random veining, delicate earthy and sandy shades, greys and neutral hues and tones with a modern, natural design blend with the imperfections left by the passage of time, revealing all the charm of a material that has accompanied humankind through the ages. 

  These modern tiles combine the ancient beauty of stone with the impressive qualities of porcelain stoneware, for a versatile collection that highlights the pleasing texture of the material of inspiration.

  Saxum comes in five colours (Antracite, Beige, Bianco, Grigio and Perla) in the sizes 48”x48”, 24”x48”,  24”x24” and 12”x24”, with a thickness of 9 mm. The tiles are available with either a natural surface, or a silk surface for a pleasant antique finish.

  The new collection is also available in an outdoor version, with a thickness of 20 mm and an anti-slip Grip surface, in all the collection colours in the sizes 24”x48” and 24”x24”. In the colours Beige and Perla, a 48”x48” outdoor version is also available.

  The range is completed with the 12”x12” mosaic tiles, composed of 2”x2” or 2”x6” tesserae, and a tumbled mosaic tile, available with a natural surface in all the colours in the collection. 

  A combination of superb technical performance and the 20mm-thick anti-slip option for outdoor areas make the tiles in the new Saxum collection both stylish and versatile. They can be either laid on screed using glue, ensuring high load resistance, or dry-laid on sand, gravel, or turf. In this case, they can be walked on immediately, allowing you to create attractive spaces with a smooth transition from indoor to outdoor areas. The stoneware tiles in the Saxum collection are perfectly squared and rectified, making them the ideal flooring choice also for terraces, patios, verandas and walkways, as well as for tiling swimming pools. They are perfect for bringing a natural look to outdoor areas, making them both practical and attractive. 

  Versatile, adaptable and with superb performance, the tiles in this new Casalgrande Padana collection can also be used in endless creative ways to tile walls, partitions, worktops and bathrooms, for a home spa look featuring walk-in showers or bathtubs that look as if they were carved from natural stone, allowing you to put your own personal stamp on living spaces.   With its elegant shades, smooth light effects and soft, cloudy appearance, Texture is a sophisticated collection of soft-touch porcelain stoneware tiles. This versatile combination of style and performance uses colour to shape living spaces you’ll love.

  Choose Texture to tile floors, walls and furnishings: it’s perfect for dividing walls, frames or accent features, and for wardrobe interiors, fireplaces and washbasin units. These tiles offer designers an endless variety of creative, trend-inspired options.

  The collection colours are Antracite, Beige, Grey, Taupe, Tobacco and White. The tiles are available in a large 48”x109” size with a thickness of 6 mm, and in the sizes 48”x48”, 24”x48” and 24”x24” with a thickness of 9 mm. With its soft touch, the original feel and appearance of the Canvas surface, and the Canneté slatted wood option, Texture is ideal for simple, balanced spaces. It adapts easily to any style, from Art Deco inspirations to minimalist settings, and looks great in Scandinavian, classic, industrial chic or eclectic interiors.
