IKTINOS HELLAS S.A., which has been listed on the Stock Exchange since 2000, was founded in 1974 by Architect Engineer Mr. Evangelos Chaidas, and the main activity of the company is marble mining, cutting, processing and applications in architecture and sculpture.
Currently has 10 privately owned active quarries, from which it extracts high-quality Thassos, Volaka, Nestos, Kalliston and "Golden Spider" marbles. The company has offices in Athens and Drama, two cutting and processing factories in Athens and one new in Drama.
It is a vertically integrated company with a highly developed and sophisticated sales network, in Greece and abroad. The 95% of the company's production is exported, while only 5% concerns domestic demand, with main markets: USA, India, Mexico, Arab Gulf countries, Latin America and Europe.
Having a strong position among the largest marble companies in Greece and worldwide, holding a market share of over 15%, exporting to more than 90 countries. Through the organized foreign sales department, with representatives in almost all countries, but mainly through its participation in international exhibitions.
