  • “i filati di rex”
Florim and Rubelli, from fabric to ceramic slabs....

  • “i filati di rex” re-evokes the hand-made feeling of the centuries-old art of silk through large ceramic slabs that resemble fabrics, seductive to look at and alluring to touch, with all the essence and luxury of hand-made textiles.

Rubelli's most iconic decorative motifs come to life on the ceramic surface in an elegant interplay of relief effects that reinterpret the texture of the fabric. The collection features nine decorative motifs, featured on Florim large slabs in different colour shades which evoke those of the original fabrics, with patterns inspired by nature and art. Three families of motif are included: damask, floral and geometrical.

“i filati di rex” is manufactured in the Florim Magnum Oversize 120x280, 120x240 and 60x120 cm large sizes in 6 mm thickness, in decorated porcelain stoneware. Each variant is produced in different shades which evoke those of Rubelli's original fabrics. All the looks are presented in Matte finish, except for Bestegui, which is in Glossy finish.

  • B&W_Marble/
The force of nature comes to life, black and white find new forms of expression The "B&W" idea of chromatic dualism evolves into “B&W_Marble/”, the new Floor Gres collection for architectural projects....

  • The series offers the purity of shades of the most sharply contrasting opposites, white and black, which become the background for a range of "pantone colours in stone", with an assortment of elements of more or less regular shapes that evoke the vein patterns of marble.

Marble is viewed here as a material with strong architectural connotations, linked to the earth and nature, reinforcing the concept of osmosis between the natural and built environment typical of the Floor Gres brand. Inspired by the different rock forms originated by movements in the belly of the earth, the collection's large slabs highlight the light-no light contrast with a colour gradient based on black and white with variegated patterns, available alongside the two monochrome White and Black surfaces.

Rounded, sinuous forms contrast with more rigid, geometric shapes, originating from the different proportions in which black and white are merged on the surface.
