Stetra is a 3D waterproof uncoupling membrane -with patented design- made of extruded polymer sheet with raised dimples and a polypropylene nonwoven fabric. This configuration ensures maximum durability and performance in tile systems. The special dovetail structure ensures strong adhesion to the tiles, providing superior tear resistance with both cement-based adhesives and polyurethane or epoxy adhesives. Stetra is engineered to absorb and compensate for movement between substrate and finish, preventing cracks and delamination over time.
Indoor emissions: Stetra complies with CAM (Italian Minimum Environmental Criteria) requirements and is classified A+ according to the French VOC regulation.

    Application:

Stetra is designed for use as a waterproof and uncoupling membrane under tiles, both on floors and walls, in environments subject to moisture or thermal stress, such as:
    • Bathrooms, showers, laundry rooms, and kitchens
    • Commercial or public buildings
    • Substrates prone to expansion or structural micromovements
Installing Stetra enhances the reliability of ceramic tile systems by mechanically decoupling the finish from the substrate and providing long-lasting waterproof protection.
